Yeah been ages and ages and have had some funny questions posed as to why I haven't been doing my blog..Nice to know folk notice mind but plain and simple just to bloody knackered with now working full time, and guess what nothing has changed at home so much as to say I still do the same stuff. Granted I do get some help but the chores are still the bloody same and just today after Rosie kindly helped herself to the Baby Oil and tipped it all over the few carpets I have upstairs she and Tag then decided to lick it up....So later this afternoon after we had been out Tag and her were making very rude sounds which they were most intrigued about and were licking their butt holes so it wasn't till I noticed the wet splats that I realised they were now squirting baby oil from their butts so just extra work LOL
But have loads to cover and cant see me finishing it all tonight so will go back to November as had my fab trip to Sweden and Norway so will work my way through with pic's

So arrived in Gothenburg on the Thursday to spend time with Johan, Maria and Bump I decided that the bump was a little girl and was delighted when she made an appearance on the 27th Dec 2011 baby Alice Bless her
Anyway it was lovely for me to catch up on the dogs and Tilly was there with her 2 babes Debbie and Dallas and we have done the jokes about Debbie does Dallas LOL but stunning puppies by Ch Lackyle Diabhal Og and they can be viewed on Sandstaff site
Now will try to work as a bit of a story as we go along but here is a couple of pic's taken at the famous park with its Christmas lights and Market it was truly spectacular and the way they wrap lights on a tree from the bottom of the trunk along each branch...I cant even begin to imagine how long it takes them to do just one tree

It seems to long and I know I should update but just do the grind each day as we all do.. Well what's happening the 3 beautiful baby girls went off to there new homes and the good news is I will get to see them as all went local. To be honest I'm not sure if I can breed another litter and let them all go again. I maintain I don't want a house full of dogs and the fact we are not getting any younger. But I really each time would love to keep one even though I know it wouldn't be practical....So will have to see the next time.
But look forward to seeing them along with the other Alports ...Now the only thing with having a gap is my brain being a sieve I forget what's happened so if I miss anything out I am sure I will be informed LOL
Job front well where I have already been working for over the past year have offered me a position and I am so pleased as I really like being there. The staff are amazing and I get on with the residents as well so I can say I enjoy going to work ...WOW that's a 1st LOL
Dog front all seems nice and steady Rose went a bit thin coated after the pup's went but she is fine now and has returned to being a total Loon and her and Tag are driving me crazy as they play all the time and with play Tag automatically assumes a hump is on offer and think the poor lad is over due. But we have 1 or 2 things in the pipe line
Right well this was good news little Inka (Alport Black Ink) and sister to Prada ( Ch Alport Black Diamond) has picked up a RCC at Midland Counties champ show under Jenny Smith of Willowstaff....... Yaaayyyyy

"This was the star of the show for me, as soon as she entered the ring the sun shone on her almost pitch black coat it gave an impression that it was glistening. This bitch is in the very best of condition which shows off her muscle tone, she stood alone in this class and when handled she just got better from her strong feminine head to the tip of her tail she is a picture of almost perfection, she has a style that is hardly seen in our breed being both strong and athletic at the same time, her handler brings out the best in her and as a team they come close to being the ultimate partnership. If I may quote Forrest Gump "they go together like peas and carrots" I would have her home with me in a heartbeat. This bitch's parts all fit together so well it would be hard for me to think of where she could improve - Best Bitch & Best In Show"

But how has been going . First I wanted to say how sorry I was to Greatstaff on losing Cobra as he was only 15 months old and Uncle Tag went through a moment of frightening me and a stay at the vets for a day so really feel Cobra's people.
Not sure where to begin, the girls are doing fine and I am posting pic's of them and they are just so gorgeous....Tag is fine now and just so relieved and been busy, busy. Have my job sorted so really pleased more hours and can come home during my break so perfect.
Zorro is now an International Champion and Tilly is defo carrying pup's so look forward to seeing them.
I have a trip that I am trying to arrange and maybe might extend the time on it as have to sort out my start dates and such like with the job. So would love to drop in and see Tilly and the pup's as well and then to Norway to spend time with lovely folk Greatstaff.
Had lots of news Via France that Falco may have some babes on the way and joined friends with Ely's people on Facebook so have some pic's of her and she is so beautiful. Great to hear from Vincent and Baptiste and had some pic's from Julian as well.
Latest News well ..........Ruger as in Alport Locknload got the RCC last Saturday under Jayne Winrow (Jayneze) so was thrilled to bits for his owners Ish and Jane and then his son Eclypstaff Rude Boy Aka Bob got best puppy so pic's in a mo but was really a lovely day...Beau as in Little Beau Geste got 2nd in yearling dog and a good class.
And previous week Raif , Alport Tornado got 1st on post grad under Gary Hinsley so mega chuffed as his 3rd year for qualifying for Crufts and he always does a splendid show and is so easy happy boy just like his Dad Tag. Inka had a good as well so photos added and she is looking mighty fine and is starting to bloom

Pup's are coming on really well ....Noisy little shits mind so thank God there is only 3 will be taking more pic's today as now 4 weeks old but these were taken at 3 and half

Check my stats maybe every other day and some return on a regular basis but you in Mountain View, California are on the verge of stalking...So hey are you going to have the gumption to say who the hell you are or what....I did think of blocking you but I cant be arsed and what ever rock's your boat I guess.
So when my stats start to drop I do a mad upload LOL no really its just ....Well I don't know to be honest, don't know how I feel about the world of Staffords presently and I should be on a high I really should
So will say why but its isn't a personal Whoopee Doo its more I am so pleased for the folk who have dedicated their time and effort to achieve what they are doing at the moment
So a couple of Weekends ago as we are all on bloody Facebook news starts filtering in

Heard from Luke early hours as in text message.....Sat Prada got the RCC under Paul Martin... UK and Sun she had the CC, BOB under Martin Murphy... Ireland so massive congrats to Luke

Then also got news via texts that Billy Sandstaff Bold and Fearless had been made a champion and Vilma took the CC and BOB Will have to chase up this judges name ....Looks a cool dude anyway and someone you can have a laugh with.

Then on Facebook also got news from Sweden again that Rosie and Beau's baby brother Paddy aged 10 months took the RCC and his owners were over the moon as it was only his 2nd show

Then again got more news that Tilly..... Cragails Braw Hizzie had also become a champion for Johan and Maria and not forgetting she lives with Dexter people so a big well done to them for keeping her in good condition especially as she maybe in pup to Ch Lackyle Diabhal Og

And finally but not least a big congrats to Tag's kids Falco Fight Club Guerriers Pacifiques bred by the the Gerrard Kennel on here ...Well Falco and his stunning sister Fangorn and I don't know her show name got the CC's under Mrs Lesley Mc Fadyen which was amazing

So chuffed is not the word so in 1 weekend thats 6 CC's and 2 RCC's so Sall.... Ch Alport Spit Fire is Mother to 4 Champions...... Tag....Alport Hurricane is Dad to 2 Champions and Bertie ....Alport Fire Chief and his Mrs ...Molly....Alport Truly Scrumptious now have a pup on a RCC so cant be bad hey

Now last weekend Holly (From Nell's 10 so litter sister to Jilly) and Ozz came to see us and she is a bit of a live wire this one so managed to get a couple of pic's from the 20 odd that we took and weren't blurred LOL But just over a year old now and looking really nice so very pleased with her ....Ozz has been poorly with a sicky thing going on was just over it and has started again .....So a bit of a slim Jim so didn't think it was fair to take pic's of him when he isn't at his best ....But he 's a lovely boy bless him

Reality check

Rosie gave birth to 3 little girls and had really thought she may have just 1 more in there but no and really could of done with a little boy for a lovely lady that was on board but pup's don't come to order unfortunately . Mum and pup's are doing great, Rose is a natural and hasn't shown any signs of being stressed at all. Bless her and 3 is so easy to rear so really pleased.
On the show front Inka had a good weekend and got a BOB and she seems to have settled down now so we tend to think good things ahead for her ....In Sweden Zorro picked up another CC making him a Danish, Norwegian and Swedish Champion and I have lost count on how many CC's he has but an amazing amount and a hell of an achievement for Sandstaff.
Now the reality check being how the hell does this work in life ....I am going for what known as a group interview next Monday, things at work have wound down and not enough hours for me now so I appear to be on the job hunt again....Problem now is, is getting past the 51 bit how do you sell yourself at 51 its bloody humiliating as if you said your age which I am glad that wasn't asked ....Even though it is claimed that legally they cant hold it against you ...LOL But you think of 51 to an interviewer of say 27 years of age and in this trade that I am looking at they are always young. They are going to think Granny and frumpy and I am not like that at all....I shall tart myself up with out going OTT I hope but this mind of mine is interesting...And I am still looking and asking questions and though sleeping on a 2 seater sofa for 4 nights did make me a bit stiff I am not past it just yet...I'm still quick thinking and have astute observation and I don't have to work at pleasing folk or remind myself of my manners....I love young people but life experiences count for a lot and being able to read people now that's the 1 and a lot of young people cant do that....But no point getting stressed about it I'm just frustrated that after years and years of making the decision that I preferred home life as oppose to a career that job insecurity should come and seek me out once again. I have never been able to sit and clock watch as such so an office job would suffocate me as the busier I am the better I function. And it will be an eye opener when I tell them what I have been doing for the past year and being attacked is part of my job description LOL

So and just worked it out 2 British Champions 2 International Champions and 3 International Grand Children Champions and could be waiting on more ...What a brag hey

OK Finally I am up and running but not sure if I like the new blogging as I just get used to it and they bloody change it again...Which for the likes of me sucks
Whats been happening, well not a lot on the home front normal boring stuff....I have packed in the nasty sticks ....Cant believe it myself but I have as cant be doing with the face cracking any more and I don't know about lines mine are more like crevices so something had to give...A bit scared about the weight issue as I'm no light weight as it is, but I'm going to try to keep check of my diet and just push myself more to do stuff...Work doesn't help to be fair as a lot of the time I'm on my fat arse which I actually hate as I much prefer to be on the go...The night shifts are a killer so they are going to have to go eventually but 1 step at the time.
So as I am pushing for more exercise I'm not wasting it and we are getting Tag fit again ....Might do a couple of shows with him as well ....Bertie has a few more to go to as well. Plus I am planning a trip to Norway and Sweden with Dean somewhere in Oct between weaning at our end, a show and house/dog sitting...Think Johan plans a visit and later Luke is coming from OZ
We are counting the days down now on Rosie peanut Brain as she has the 25th and 29th due dates, don't know how many as such and will just wait and see. As long as she is OK

So more pic's as have Tag's kids in France and its just great for us now as we just sit here at home and these pic's arrive. I miss the showing a bit but the fact that it doesn't matter any more as we have planted the seeds and they have grown and flourished . Be it pets or show its lovely to know you have made a lot of people happy . It doesn't come without its dramas but on the whole I can live with that now and have absolutely no regrets at all ...A little wiser maybe but that's about it..So have more pics as well of Billy's puppies in Sweden, Bertie's son Paddy and friend and finally Abba and Solo's boys who are doing really well and doesn't seem like a year ago now since they were born.

Bertie went to 2 shows and only made the cut twice but hey-ho that's showing...Had a pic of him and he looks well beefy but he isn't huge. He isn't refined neither as he is all dog now I would say and will be 4 in Oct but we love him... I was going to go over to Sweden but unfortunately due to a big BOOBOO I cant go OMG LOL but I'm not sharing the details and on the 10th we have a champ show here with Bertie so wouldn't of been able to get back for that...But will aim to go before the years out as want to see the dogs as in Sall, Dexter, Tilly, Jilly and all the kids.. Now Dean did say he would like a trip and then we can go onto our good friends Ingebjorg and Ian and spend a few days in Norway
And next year we will go to France and visit Tag's kids and families, one day I might just brave Australia as well, when Prada has pup's maybe...Its really wonderful to be invited out by folk, it makes my humble life far more interesting.

Been working on getting on here and that much has happened so will post all over the place so need to look at all blogs . On the showing front I have some pic's with Judges some I would be inclined to ask there permission others I know will be OK and well 1 but only 1 I wouldn't be inclined to post on my blog anyway. Think the first time we spoke as such after years and years and he told me he probably should acknowledge Alport now as we had just made up the 2 champions....Dont ya just hate that but doesn't bother me the fact he doesn't have a clue who I am or what my values are and when you talk about how fickle the showing world is that just about sums it up for me.
Well it's been quite exciting and as I don't get to many shows I enjoy receiving the news, the fabulous Prada and Luke in Oz have been doing it again and in 1 day she got 2 CC's so at 12 months of age she sits on 3 but its on a point system over there and she needs 100 points for her title of Champion so half way there now ...Think she will go all the way Alport Black Diamond

Also Sandstaff Bold and Fearless Aka Billy won his 2nd CC and BOB under UK judge John Scanlan so really chuffed and I am having problems loading pic's tonight as Blogger is playing up so cant do half of what i had planned to do...Bugger
But well done Philip who has Billy and well done to Ballstaff and Johan

As awaited it seems good news from France also the kids are looking wonderful and Tag is a super Daddy will post a couple on here and then on his page ....But we are thrilled to bits he already has 1 champion daughter and maybe another very soon and these kids as well we are just amazed ....To think I thought he was a bag of spanners when he was young LOL.....Need just load the pic's from Italy as well but could do with some pic's of them so I know who's who
But he carries the good stuff that for sure and has the pedigree behind him and with the right girlfriends they produce well....So much thanks to my French friends for probably seeing more in Tag than we did and boy its paid off

Just been doing a recap on events and this year so far, dare I say is bloody marvellous as far as the doggies are concerned...Having said that I've been quiet anyway with the combination of working and I don't talk about work so all I will say is count my blessings as for those I work with its Ground Hog day and it messes with your mind sometimes.
On the dog front I look but say little and just enjoy what's happening
Cant believe its 2 years since we sent Sall to Sweden and Sandstaff has done all that they have achieved with her kids and I know folk say well its down to Spit Fire and still question her leaving us ...But without there enthusiasm, the time they put in and the cost it wouldn't of been possible and it certainly wouldn't of happened here....So we get a chance to live off all that for just breeding Sall (Ch Alport Spit Fire) and that will do for us.
Now bug bears being have we the right also to be chuffed to bits about Tilly(Cragails Braw Hizzie) who now lives in Sweden with Dexter her half brother....No we didn't breed her though her Dad is ours as in Tag and we owned her until her breeder decided we were no longer good enough to be her owners and no matter what we did it wasn't good enough which was made plain for all to see....And then we were still wrong to let her go but some you cant win
But the bug bear being there is no reason that her new owner and her puppy owners should suffer the consequence of her breeder and myself coming to logger heads and that they have more right to celebrate and enjoy what's been happening and no one should deny them that right
So I am going to post pic's of Tilly receiving her 2nd CC and 1 more and she will be a Champion and her 2 girls also as they have been winning left right and centre. So Inka (Alport Black Ink)here in the UK and her sister Prada (Alport Black Diamond) in Australia look bloody amazing as does Tilly...And here's the thing we are grateful for having had the opportunity to own Tilly and like it or not she is half our breeding as well, my only regret is the lack of trust on us breeding her as she would produce anyway as she has an out standing pedigree behind her.
On the Tag front we had pic's come through from Gerard in France and have to say the daughters are just beautiful. The pup's they sent to Italy are in the lime light at the moment as well and are doing a fair bit of winning so will be posting pic's of them as well and Tag did good out there. He is enjoying his sunny days and spends hours out there with a ball or a stick if he can bring one home and we have had him carry ones nearly as big as him and managed to get them to the door step LOL ...He tried a car tyre the other day he found in a ditch took him a while to get it out of the ditch and then he found if her stepped through it he could make little steps ....But as we got further away from him he gave up and left it but I'm sure he will be trying again if its still where he left it ....I have taken a ball out of his mouth when he has been asleep and its bone dry along with his tongue so he is a charmer is our Tag ...Have some pics taken today of just messing in the garden and cant believe he will be 5 in August.
Now a few weeks ago we took them to the forest and they just were in awe Rosie was quivering and Nell was on a high and all 3 just tazzed here and there ....We took them to the stream which is really picturesque with little water falls and Tag was running flat out and he crashed over a branch , it actually stopped him dead in his tracks and he half yelped ....We checked him over as we suspected his groin area but later that night I noticed his sheath was swollen OMG just the thought so I had anti biotic still in so got him on those as thought if there is restriction around her dangler it could cause an urinary infection and had some pain killer so gave him that just for the swelling really....3 days on and all was better and if I had thought it was getting worse I would of been straight to the vets....I also noticed he had some scratches on his chest presuming from the branch as well but all healed up but this last few days he has developed a lump about the size of a penny its round, soft and moves about and its on his sternum so not sure if there is a connection with the injury or its something else...It hasn't changed but I am monitoring it as it isn't bothering him at all but still a worry so will probably nip him to the vets next week and he is insured but I don't like lumps and bumps that I cant explain especially as he is my passion fruit

Was so chuffed when I heard this as was very impressed by this young dog when I went over last year ....Proudly he is litter brother to Zorro, Vilma and the Sandstaff gang and WOW what a litter this was.

I have some pic's of Johans trip to stay with us and visit Crufts which I will post when I get more free time, free time whats that I wonder...But I think he enjoyed his stay and was more than delighted with the shower with its own remote control once he worked out how to use oh and with it's own in built radio included LOL...This was at the B & B near us stunning room, great service and a shower you could have a party in I reckon.

Yeah well the reason I have been slow is because of waiting for pic's to filter through, but they are coming gradually. I have asked Inka's Mum to send me pic's of Inka and Raif as they are on face book but I don't know how to nick them and the judge himself has some good pic's but I will have to ask to become a friend to get them on there.
Things have slowed up but I have been elated by the response so cant imagine what it must be like for the big winners at Crufts but anyway here are some pic's and the plan is to set up a new page (Blog) for our dogs and pedigrees

The lovely Sall's daughter and we are bloody ecstatic about it. All huge efforts are by Johan and Maria of the Sandstaff kennel and they have done so well with this litter but for us to know we bred one that became a champion here and then a Swedish champion and now her kids will be champions by 2 years of age in Sweden/ Nordic. Not forgetting her other beautiful daughter Abba being a Danish Champion if you had told us this 20 years ago that we would have all these fantastic dogs stemming from Alport we would of laughed ....So proud you bet

Just want to high light that I made claims to a change is coming and then we have Egypt in the news this week.
Their is book called Synthetic Terrorists and its a bit heavy going, not sure when it was written as haven't got it at hand but it makes for some interesting reading...One of the chapters covers the present president of the USA coming to power, and I'm just recalling this now so its not word for word but it states the advice offered to him is don't go to war with Iran as basically the USA cant afford to. But it states let the Russians go to war with Iran instead....War games, hey. And what did we have plastered all over the news a couple of weeks ago a bombing taking place in Russia. Well I have great faith in the Russians as they are not easily manipulated and we can all say thank God for that.
And did anyone question why Charles and Camilla drove through the student protests, did anyone think What the hell is going off here...Come on get with it folk it was done deliberately to make the students look bad, and a nasty shock for our royalty as it was a bit more than they expected...LOL You've just seen Egypt government officials send there own men amongst the demonstrators do you not think we don't do it as well.
Well another little snippet to think about why we all lose ourselves in our own little worlds. And lets be fair until it effects us personally why should we pay attention to what the rest of the world is doing but I will keep adding a bit here and there even if no one is interested

Anyway onto Dog reports ....Went to the East Mid's Limit show but ended up getting a lift as Hubby had forgot he had made other arrangements LOL for real this time as going to shows are not the most exciting events for him. But I didn't take our Mutts so I showed Raif baby and Inka bless her.
Ruger was there and it was really well supported so its nice that people are making an effort when we are all trying to conserve expense as well..

So you will have to go to older posts as well, what else can I report well things are pretty steady and its the way I like it as to much bad karma is not good for the soul. I know we are all fed up in the the UK and maybe Europe as well as prices go up on fuel and cost of living and the fact is the world is broke and we are being conned ....But a change is coming because you talk to people and they are all feeling it, they feel enslaved to debt and we are all connected as its in our nature as human beings so I believe an uprising is brewing and New World Order has to go....Our government is a PLC and maybe its the same in Europe but its no good moaning we have to unite and protest but without violence we have to do it like Gandhi and keep moving forward and asking and people will join. We have to for our children as what will there be for them, will they have jobs, will they afford a place of their own to live in.
And what about when we the working class want to retire will we have enough to survive...These people who run the world don't care about you or me all they care about is trying to hide what they are doing and they want you to stay as peasants and never dare to question a power that isn't legal anyway.
OK rant over but I do hope people start to question as its your right to ask and this is affecting all of us

Sandstaff went off to the very same show they did last year with Sall and Sall took all the awards going and this year they took Zorro, Vilma and Tilly and Tilly got the RCC and then the next day she took the CC how amazing is that so like Sall as it was her 1st ever show in Sweden and Tilly has done the same so we were thrilled to bits, little Tilly being a super star

Said I would update on the pup's (Nell's 10) and I know Jack is coming to see us this week I think and I had Tusker come over he was big brindle boy and he is a proper mahogany brindle now and very handsome.
Holly should come over with Ozzy's folk this weekend for some snap and chit-chat and look forward to seeing them ....I catch up with Jilly on facebook and I had pic's of Millie come through she was the tiniest one but such a pretty girl...Elvis I need to catch up with and Inca as well though they did say they would send pic's, finally Alfie had pic's of him as well and don't ask me how I remember all these names as I haven't a clue as anything else in my life it goes through like a sieve LOL but dogs I can always remember and I even shocked myself and recalled some of the breeding of my ponies the other day and that was way back in 97

Hello got some time for a change

Been trying to catch up on the doggie front so where was I ....We went to that show and Nell got a 2nd only 3 in the class but was really chuffed and she seem to enjoy it..Then we booked her in to be spayed and I was told about another Vets operating from Burton On Trent called Easipet Care they also operate from kettering....Was all ready to give the vet a hard time as taking into account the last time I took a bitch in to be spayed she came home and was dead by 11.30 pm. This was 5 years ago now but I still beat myself up over it...We went to collect her and he bought her to us unconscious, her breathing was short and rapid and her pallor was completely white and for those who have not seen this the gums are white and the eye rims also and its quite a shock, my instincts were screaming at me so I asked if she was ok....Yes he said she is still very groggy as she didn't take the anesthetic to well and she was sick but I have cleaned her up...Take her home and keep her warm and any problems ring me
You see like with all bad experiences you don't forget what was said and what we should of done is take her to another vets straight away but even then I think it might of been to late as what we didn't know was that she was actually dieing right before our eyes ...I did ring him that night but to give him a right gob full of abuse and next day we went to another vets with help from my good friend Steve Swift from Longdrive Staffords and we arranged to have an autopsy done ....We had to take her to Leeds in a black bin liner packed with ice and it was absolutely awful and I cried at the vets and for most of the way to Leeds and back home again.
The result of that was her trachea had filled along with her lungs with froth and fluid and at this point it was inconclusive as to why she died ....Yeah right
She died because she was either sick during the operation or as she came round and because this Arse hole operated on his own she inhaled the sick into her lungs which turned into what they call a peracute Pneumonia. Which basically means she was being drowned, terrible isn't it and no vet wanted to explain the findings from the autopsy to me. I had to find out myself
I did battle with RCVS for 4 months and I had to pack up as it was making me ill...The vet in question a Mr Aldridge who has his practice at Draycott Derbyshire is still in business and no doubt still kills peoples pets.
So a bit of a horrible story and something you don't quite come to terms with but that's life hey.
So like I said I was already to give this vet a hard time but he turned out to be way to good looking and way to nice and they were really good and explained everything to us ...The price was nearly half the price of the vets around us and picking Nell back up was such a relief as she came toddling out to us all waggy tailed so a big thumbs up for these vets and I just wish they would open a practice around here to put our rip off vets in this area to shame.

For a bit of gloom now another reason I didn't write for so long is we had terrible news from Nell's 10 One little girlie at 13 weeks had to be put to sleep from a freak accident and then some 2 weeks later one of the dog pup's died, how can that be and having never lost babies on a whole it just killed me off....As you never ever want to sell puppies to loving homes and for this to happen...The idea is to bring joy into peoples lives and well it just suffocated me as I was so proud the 10 made it, well you can imagine.

We had Jack and Jilly still so how could it not be mended as best as we could and hopefully though these poor babies could not be replaced as such both families came along and now own Jack and Jilly and the nice thing being I will still get to see them as they were here for 16 weeks so its obvious we had grown attached

With such a gap now I am bound to of forgot some news and someones loved Mutts....Debated loads if to mention as to why I have not felt like doing the blog, work has paid a big part especially doing 12 hour night shifts, also being annoyed and certain people....This has been my life for 20 years so its not some Willy Nilly hobby, make a few bucks and not give a shit and I certainly haven't turned my back on it like some people.
But you know its hard to please everyone and basically you just cant and as my old "Get on with it " attitude returns its a lets go for it time again

Think its time maybe to have a laptop of my own as I have to do battle to get on the PC now days. Me I keep it simple and do the things most ladies do, not always mind...Husband on the other hand is turning into a rebel and asks questions like how does a country create a security service that can half strip a child naked at an airport, in public and in the name of freedom.
And how is the meeting that is about to take place to discuss Ireland's crisis has the corporate power that financed wars the past 100 years and its never covered by the media....It is interesting and I becoming hooked and feel I have met these extremists on a forum even ....You know the one's who feel its their god damn given right to ask personal questions and judge you ...Then they don't really take in a word you have written and come back spitting and snarling with their twisted agenda....Think one comes on here at least twice a day (Location Mountain View ***) maybe they work for HLS or to TSA LOL

One of the girl's left yesterday to a lovely family so down to 2 and spoke to brindle boy's Dad now named Tusker so all are doing well...Meant to do some pic's myself but just never got around to it and have decided I will enter our local show in Dec with Rosie and Nell so need to get to some handling classes with Peanut brain and Nell looks terrific and will be just be under 2 months off her 7th birthday at the show and for a Mummy that has had 36 puppies one born dead she will stand her own.

I wouldn't say my writing is the most eloquent of writing, my choice of words are not always the best and I have never confessed to being that clever anyway. But God I enjoy a good read from someone who knows how to use the English language in all its full glory and you just know they can run rings around most that would dare to challenge.
Astute well maybe and for today I feel the reign of spew has finally ceased and for us in many ways a huge chapter of many chapters are closing.
Some of it will stick as it always does and for me personally I can live with that and I can live with my faults

But anyways enough of the drivel and here are some pic's Dean took yesterday of the Monkeys, we have someone coming hopefully at the weekend and time is all we have got to make sure we get these sorted into homes...Though I'm still running the dog on but feel confidant he is fine but just want to make 100% sure.
They are great now, house trained more or less and its been a while since we came down to any mess in the mornings ....Life is great as they play and play and love beating Rosie up who I have to say "Peanut" brain or not her maternal duties are to the extreme of where she has actually cleaned up after them ....YUK Bless her

More written than pic's just wanted to congratulate the Tusselstaff folk as Gus's daughter took the CC today and a huge well done to her breeders .....Had word that Zorro took his 12th CC on Saturday which is amazing so what with Abba we are delighted... Just to add did about 2 to 3 pages so you will have to go onto older posts at the bottom to see everything

Done a bit of picture loading and a bit of self promo now on the pup's we sold 8 but had a dog puppy back ...Was doing a bit of butt rocking, poohing twigs and red jelly so had his glands done and put him on chicken wings so a vast improvement and hardly does it at all now .....Noticed today he looks like he will have some demodex around one of his eye's so will hang onto him till we are happy to home him.....A bit of a stunner as well
2 girls left which we are really surprised but going by when we had 8 puppies selling 6 or 7 is easy but for what ever reason beyond that and its difficult...Had someone for one of the girls but felt a to busy life for them and wasn't sure how they would fit her in so decided in the end I didn't need the worry, though very nice people.
Anyway lots of pic's now and anyone who knows anyone looking for girlies let us know, everything will be in place already micro-chipped and will get the 1st inoculation done this week

Did my trip to France last week and it was a bit scary in Paris as you have to change stations and I went on the tube with minutes to spare and that was running and I don't run LOL ...Let me just put France on the map 2 wonderful french girls helped me at Paris and the Euro Star is cramped where as the french trains are spectacular and fast. And as you approach Grenoble the view is breath taking and I was pretty knackered when I got there.
But the view alone was enough to lift the energy field.
Vincent picked me up and its about an hour to where they live and it just got prettier and prettier, we rolled up on the drive to the sight of Tag hanging on a log and other dogs coming to greet us ....Having not seen Tag for over a year he took my breath away as he just looked awesome, I then spotted a lovely young bitch just the way I like them and this was Tag's daughter Fraise and then followed by Mummy Thelma and Deedee Baptiste girl
The French are warm and just so lovely to spend time with and I enjoyed every minute ...I met loads of dogs and loads of people who all made me really welcome....Julian being the funniest guy I have met and still am laughing now over the burnt Pizza...
I need a video of Fame and her ball catching as I think it should be voted on youtube for amazing and her pup's by our Tag were just beautiful, met another little girl from Tag and Deedee and she was just lovely so I just wish I could of stayed longer to take in the scenery and good company ....And very very nice wine.
So definitely think Simon and I should take a trip to this beautiful place as its a town surrounded by mountains with loads to do and see.
Coming back was not as pleasant though I have to say yet again and bit more prepared I looked for help as nothing is in English and again found a lovely lady to direct me and Tag was just brilliant up escalators and down. In lifts and through train doors like it was a walk in the park ...The ferry was the scariest as we were already late as a deck hand on an earlier ferry had died which had made them all late so I knew as we were getting on I would miss my trains at Dover and London ....So landing was a nightmare as they said go and stand with Tag when we get there, well fine if I could find him and usually my sense of direction is good and we had turned around going but I hadn't a clue coming back so it took me a while to find him amongst the cars and Lorries and stupid really as we couldn't get off till everybody else was off as they come and get you in a minibus...Then I was dropped and told to go through doors and go right so I'm dragging Tag in his crate which had a handle on it like a suitcase, my small suitcase and could I find anybody so I ended up going outside and waved this policeman in his van down, and he was lovely and he swore as he said it was stupid to just leave me like that and he drove me straight to the train station...So as for customs they could still be looking for me LOL
One for our British train service now as from Dover to home they were wonderful they sorted out my tickets though I had missed my trains and I didn't have to pay again and the train from London St Pancres to Derby was 1st class as that's where they put me and said to enjoy it with coffee and cake so a huge thumbs up to British train people but have to say Tag helped as everyone was amazed how good he was ...The trip back took 14 and half hours and I got home early hours

Haven't got time to do as promised and have some new pics to add ....The pup's are in full swing now and as I like Pooh it seems and wade through it constantly, I'm just glad to retain to some form of humour as I need it
But any hows it works out at about 280 poohs a week, why I need to count I haven't a clue but I do knows their are some very poohyyy folks about and some who obviously like it as well as they are so far up their own pooh holes it's quite distasteful...Seems I come on here and have a moan a lot recently but never one to shy from being out spoken and if they are out to get you....Then you have to sort it
But back to the nice bits the tinkers are killing me my wrists hurt loads from all the mopping and my washer is going 24/7 as I throw down dog towels all over the kitchen floor and then when Yukked up they go in the washer ....On top of that Rosie has had her 1st season and is an expert of getting her dog pants off and chewing the "Always"up (which were on offer at 50p a pack so a real bargain) but she hasnt exploded so dont think she has ate the crystals thankfully ....But with her getting them off she has dripped every where as well so my house seems pretty on par with a public toilet and I am the public toilet attendant...With my defuming products on the go.

And thats without the normal stuff going on and then some niggling gripes here and there and my life would be far simpler without the Mutts but hey I like hassle I guess....Still have to finish my arrangements to go and fetch the Tagster and though I am looking forward to the break I just hope Tag will be ok as we have missed him but I dont want to confuse the poor lad so I'm hoping the trip back means we can do some bonding.
I'm coming back my train and ferry think I have said but I have to drag the plastic crate with me so Tag can go in it on the ferry and I am dreading that bit as not sure if I have to put him in it before we go on and how will I transport him in it as I just cant take a trolly as well ...Oh well will find out no doubt

Been sorting out fetching him because as timing goes bloody Rosie peanut brain is having her 1st season at 11 months of age, knew she was backward LOL so as time goes on we have had to rethink it through...So yet again I get to take a little trip and Simon gets the raw deal of staying at home...But really I don't think he is bothered as he has his big project now in his workshop and I must say he is pretty ingenious at spreading small funds a long way and like wise me as well for this trip...I have sussed the cheapest way to get there by flying from Birmingham and coming back the cheapest option again by train and ferry and then a train home the only downfall is I have to carry a plastic carrier which I can have in 2 halves with a strap and me a rucksack to suffice
As he has to go in a safe carrier on the ferry on the car deck but I can go and stand with him and its only 1 and half hours crossing....Just have to get the timing right now but I'm getting really good at this

Prada Has Landed

We took her yesterday to Heathrow and like the last time I didn't like it one bit as they go in all waggly tailed and then are put in that wooden crate and I'm not sure why they have to be there 5 hours before they fly for God's Sake, so she flew at 10.00 pm and arrived just before 8.00 pm our time tonight and as I write we are waiting for the quarantine station to pick her up and 9 other animals and they are in a warm room waiting..
She will be absolutely knackered and no doubt dirty as their isn't much room in the crate for her to do her business and her owners will not see her probably till tomorrow so equally harrowing for them ....Then she will be in quarantine for 30 days WHY ? as a puppy she hasn't been any where other than to the vets and even then we sat her on our knee ....So the house training kind of goes out of the window I guess and now we will have to wait the 30 days in such a vital time of a puppies life ....But yep we could of said No but its not to you get to this bit that you wonder and yes it makes me a bit cranky I suppose ....
But needless to say this is a real posh life she goes into and just lovely folk waiting along with me for her to get out and be a much loved pet....Cant wait till they see her for the 1st time as she is so so pretty and will report back

We have a couple of whailers and definitely a gob-on-a-stick in there but we are very pleased how they are growing and hard to pick out what was the little ones now

Only got the PC back today and the virus we had had broke a link in the hard drives so its all been reformated ( Can I just ask folk to email me again like the South African guy as we have lost the email addresses ...Thanks )
What a ball ache downloading all the stuff you need and setting passwords again and I'm not the most patient when it comes to wanting it done
So I have sat back and pondered the last few days and read such comments as its heartless to let go of adults dogs and I could be rude but then we are not all reading and believing what we read to be the gospel and bloody Hallelujah for that hey...Sometimes maybe you read between the lines or read more into it than is actually there. Who gets the accolade for sitting back and watching from the ring side, who's breeding has the more influence...Well I will just say as whats expected from a Mad womens Diary .... Jammy because our name is on it.
And I will continue to post on here and I will enjoy it....I will carry on doing updates on Tilly, her children and the 10 waiting in the wings
I will post about all the dogs and how they are doing so you can swivel on your computer chair till your knackers are sore. As its a man gripe from what I can gather....With my wicked sense of humour I see certain persons swaying side to side whilst they look at the screen and lets be fair life is just to short to be angry and if the wind up is to much then ignore it LOL its real easy

Updates
Prada leaves us on Monday and we will be taking down to Heathrow and the next day will be a long one we havent worked out the time scale as yet but I think it will be Wednesday when she arrives in Sydney....I am inclined to think this is not an easy thing to do even if you have done it before and thankfully Prada is very forward and not bothered about anything, she was climbing the stairs and coming down them at 8 weeks old which was pretty astounding as usually they brave to go up them and then you have to go and fetch them down and when her sister came it was definitely double the trouble and my rug came off the worse LOL

And contrary to the belief of some if I could pile 5 in a caravan and roll up at a Land Rover event I would but we cant and this is the best Simon is going to be now as its 4 years down the road since he was diagnosed with the MS and he wants to do what he has been yearning to do for most of our married life I think...And I have no doubts he deserves to build himself a Land Rover and turn into a young boy again and race across the country side...So this is his time and he wants to share it with me so 3 dogs we can take and just about cope
But Prada or each of her 2 sisters I would of gladly kept and Tilly is in a better place and if I was this so called puppy peddler she would of stayed and would be bred again next year and the year after and the annoying thing most of all is I didnt let her go willy nilly and like Sall the life she has now is a better one

LOL...I just look still and think its amazing and Nell just sorts them so we have to rename her Super Nell and I will get some pic's of her as she is still looking good
The girls are proper girls and I can pick the 5 out easily as they are real pretty and the boys again 5 are more beefy but I'm going to have to come up with some names when it comes to taking pic's in a week or so and might choose currency just to give them pet names ....The kennel club names as need 20 we havent a clue yet how we will choose as its usually a block of names taken from aircraft or chillies and alike

I get it I really do so for the world to know ....Tilly has gone to Sweden to live and from a sentimental prospective the timing wasn't perfect as we are all dog lovers and the idea that a breeder like me ( I will say me as Tilly's breeder seems to look to me as its all my fault ) will have a litter and then send Mum packing ....Yep I can see it doesn't sit to pretty but it wasn't immediately after the pup's were weaned ( 10 and half weeks) and Tilly being Tilly the maternal duties were done the time they were 6 weeks and it was back to playing and being just Tilly...The sentiment attached and is it ethical ....Well that's interesting as the biggest thing is that the most annoyed person as in Tilly's breeder wants to talk ethics when in fact that person has kept a bitch puppy for a year and then gave her away to a friend and then had her back for over a year and now has let her go again so in her 4 years she has had 3 homes ...So where do you draw the line about being ethical hey.
I have said my reasons for cutting back , rehoming call it what you will I also have probably kept some secrets there as well because frankly I don't want strangers to know absolutely everything that's going off personally..
But I also knew her breeder would kick off and I was prepared to put up with all the crap he could throw and that's a strong reason by any of the stretch of the imagination as no one want to be where I am at the moment...
Do I regret it well I already said No because I know that Tilly is already very settled and though like I have said we all love our dogs but they are dogs they don't question or reason. And it was the way it fell and not all planned out that we got on with it. Will I miss her well what is the point of explaining how I feel about it and I certainly am not going to bleat any hard luck story
We have seen they can be rehomed like Big Bear when he went to his new home and I guess being a responsible breeder how many homes doesn't come into the ethical as I agreed as his breeder to have him back off his owners, I couldn't keep him as we knew Tag was coming back so after several weeks he was rehomed and yep admit some emotion went into it but by all accounts after one or two hic-ups he is well and truly settled.
Do I care as a breeder well I have been very fortunate with the people we have as our dog owners including lovely Raif's folk who are on there 3rd Alport bred dogs ....So I think if I didn't care I wouldn't of had the opportunities to have spent time with these folk and seen our lovely dogs, the only thing being lack of time makes it hard at times.
Do we tick all the boxes I'm not really sure but we try to get it right, we do all the correct things as far as health tests and we micro chip and I try to stay in touch for updates and I think my blog makes that obvious as I really do enjoy seeing them grow up and if they do well in life not just in the show ring. But for me it really is worth all the hard work
As stated I cant keep doing it and have no desire to carry on breeding we have a fair few out there now and all over and internationally as well so what more could we want.
I don't think I have ever been out to prove anything or personally compete with anyone but I remain proud of what we have achieved and if this is annoying for some then its you that has a problem and to be honest we have had enough Shite go off in our own lives without sharing other peoples
As to the 10 puppies well yeah we planned it like that for Gods sake, being the greedy gits that we are.
Some people need to grow up and funny how they always point a finger at you when your breeding but don't regard the times when you didn't breed or things went terribly wrong.
So that's it nothing more to add or say, feel no need to justify, answer to or account for.

Was writing to Prada's owner this morning so will quote some of it
Had written a long email and then went into Nell and came back an it had shut down but it might have had something to do with the fact I have Inka here as well, so think they must of caught the switch..... I have taken Inka's collar off and I can hardly tell them apart .....They are absolutely stunning and at this age as they are about to enter the ugly stage but no way are these girls going to be ugly. I am so chuffed and for me I don't have to own it and keep it all for myself... Some wont get it as this is a Mad Women's Diary apparently LOL
But anyways Tilly is not missing us one bit and not that I expected her to and for all the crap that's gone off and emails being sent to Sweden to find out stuff we have no regrets at this end and as we see it it can only be a good thing in the long run....Pic's to follow

Puppies and Nell are doing marvelous all little porkers now and Nell is eating for England but I'm not bothered as long as she keeps glowing and we have a very good butcher who gives me just loads of goodies because I make him laugh he says. Will post pic's later and they do look lovely and no little ones now all have caught up now. So dare I say its going to be ok as they are nearly 10 days old

We have nearly made a week by tomorrow, have mastered all 10 boobies with all 10 pup's latched on and Nells boobs are starting to resemble a pair of Marigold rubber gloves blown up....And I wouldn't of believed it possible, the milk flows and they are gaining big time now. They look lovely as well so really chuffed
We are managing the other stuff as well, Prada puppy went for her bloods to be taken and has her flight booked to go to Sunny Sydney and how I have pulled it all in I haven't a clue...
Bloody weather isn't helping as its been rain for days but they say the weekend is going to be ok ...Dogs love to be outside and its better for me as walking and getting wet as many times as I have this week gets into the bones but if I don't walk peanut brain she is bouncing off the walls and she is vocal as well so drives me scatty...Wish we could take Prada but we cant but she loves playing so we just have to wear her out before we set off

But then don't always like plans as they go wrong, but if I report till Friday and then once a week ....New Album created called Nell's 10 and day 4 and all are doing well .Weighed them and the tiny bitch has gained a couple of ounces weighing 10oz or I think 310 grams the heavy ones are weighing 14 oz and one of the small dogs is now at 12oz so that's a 4 oz gain
And now have some pic's of them, normally I would say by day 4 we are on a roll but have no idea with this amount. Thankfully I have managed to catch up on sleep so don't feel so ratty and Nell is doing as Nell does ...I'm giving her loads extra and will order more food today but she is on the Farleys Rusks and goats milk and fresh meat with her Fish4dogs, its a good complete but maybe its a super duper good complete as she has been on this all the time LOL

A bit of a Panic

All seemed well till tea time all 10 Tinkers looking well and content and was about to cook some tea when one starting crying ...Simon walked in on mid howl and me sitting there holding this puppy trying to decide if he was dehydrated, cold or if he had been trodden on....As usual I started thinking the worse and thought here we go its all going to go belly up....
So we rang the vet and they said to come straight away as we arrived the puppy was at full pitch and having Nell with us she was singing as well ..This started all the dogs that were in the waiting room so we were taken around the back into another room...The vet came through and took the puppy's temperature and nothing irregular there.
Puppy was strong and not lethargic so I then said could it be tummy ache and she said I think it is a little bit of colic and with having the 10 she may not be getting to stimulate them all...So she said she would take him to the nurse station and see if they can relieve him and find out if he can have an injection to relieve the cramp...10 minutes later she came back with a quiet puppy all hollowed out and we put him back with the hot water bottle and came home and not a peep since...
I have been helping and all are doing as they should, the milk flow is in full force with milk coming out of some of the pup's noses and I am making sure they all get a decent go at the milk bar....Tonight I have to say they all look very content pudgy little pup's and Nell is having a bit of time out.
My clock is right out and at 8.00 pm I went for a kip and didn't get back up till mid night but I would think by Thursday/Friday things should be more settled and I will be able to sleep without getting up to return stray pup's or pups that have gone behind Nell and I have a right stiff neck LOL
I'm not planning to update everyday but at the moment the interest is there to see how they are all doing as most folk are amazed...Guess this is what you call going out with a bang and I just hope now they all make it even if it does mean loads of work and a small fortune to rear them...Will take pic's once I think we are on a roll as such

Still have the 10 tinkers weighed them yesterday and the tiny ones are 8 oz and the big-uns are between 10 and 11 oz, all are strong and standing on their hind legs for the milk bar and Nell is just totally relaxed about it all. So another couple of days and we could be ok and aptly put by someone Nell the Super bitch will sit back in a few weeks and watch me take over. LOL
Other news Vilma , Zorro's sister got the CC yesterday and Best in Breed and then went onto get 3rd in the group, Sall and Tyler's super kids....Huge well done Sandstaff, its great.

Just a quickie really and jammy I say not as this is quite scary .....We had the pup's all born within 2 hours ...Nell I think may of waited for me to come home as she and us had a restless night before and then me on an all day course which happened to be very physical ....So was starting to flag and all just took off as soon as I got home really...7 born within an hour and then a further 3 more and both Simon and myself were saying she cant be having another and another came....So 37 hours later we still have 5 boys and 5 girls ...I'm on a fishing chair/bed kindly bought over by Ozzy's folk bless them and its quite comfortable...
All we can do now is see how it goes and for saying we are retiring from the breeding this is ridiculous and I don't even want to envisage the pooh picking up if they all survive ...Well some will get a laugh out of it I guess.
Nell seems very relaxed about it all and I'm at the vets on Tuesday so will be pick their brains, we have her on calcium but may need the proper stuff and may need to replace some of her milk in a week or so but this is not what we are used to so it will be a another lesson learned ....

Sandstaff had a great weekend in Norway and Zorro is on a roll with CC's galore it seems ..2 shows 2 CC's 2 BOB and 1st in group and Norwegian Winner 2010 Holy Moly that's some going ...Johan is going to be busy I think and he has to decide on a new boyfriend for Sall for Oct and I'm as good as him and cant pin it down.
Will announce now and get it out of the way, Nell last had a litter 19 months ago, and we took her to a Ch dog last year but she wasn't in pup so we thought well that's it then we will knock it on the head, it wasn't an ideal situation anyway with the mating done so as we got to this year and she should of whelped in Feb we still thought we will retire her ...But a few weeks ago well nearly 9 weeks ago to be precise we thought we would give her a try and here we are...Very flippant matter of fact, like no thought went into it and if that's what folk want to think that's fine...Gone are the days where we try to justify our actions.
So Nell is very pregnant to Jajca's Challenger a very standard boy with a fabulous temperament to match and I'm starting to look forward to it now.
We will get some stick for being puppy peddlers, little do they know but what ever ....But we will then be chilling for a couple of years as far as breeding is concerned as I do believe your edge burns its course and we don't think we need to achieve anything more as its been fantastic anyway..Just happy in the knowledge that we have put out some nice dogs and folk are getting pleasure from them...Will still look forward to seeing how well they do and still will do a bit of showing here but we are doing other stuff as well

The funeral thankfully went well and was so nice to catch up with the family and some I haven't seen for many years...It was also nice to meet the other side and the grandson Danial did a fine job with the reading and I'm really pleased as it was more his place than our Dean's...Maybe we might all meet up again but for a happier occasion

And last but not least as seen the blog has changed and designed by Dean and Angela, their are several layers so not an easy task but I am very pleased with it and its really nice that they decided to do this as a surprise for me.

Different Judge again Sall 1st in champion bitch and then the final line up for the dogs Zorro 3rd Billy 5th...Final line up for the bitches Vilma the RCC
Showing this weekend in Norway as well and Zorro and Vilma did well last weekend as well so looks like the time Zorro is 18 months old he will be a Swedish and Norwegian champion and maybe Vilma not far behind

Not going to hark on it but have to write something...We have my Dad's funeral on Wednesday and it kind of makes you reflect as families go and fair to say our's sucks...Have a German side that we don't know as after my Oma and Opa (Grandma & Grandad) died we never went over again.. So one remaining uncle and lots of cousins that we haven't seen for years..
Here we have two Uncles, brothers to my Dad and last time we saw them was a funeral and from all that side one Aunty keeps in touch Betty who I know values family meaning
My Dad well the last time he was my Dad I was 11 years old and then maybe a handful of times after, last time he saw Dean he was 3 years old and I'm supposed to remember the nice things but I cant...Do people have regrets I'm sure they do and I do remember him coming to my brothers funeral and he looked pretty cut up but it wasn't enough for him to remain in touch... Its been hard on my other brother over the years as it was just Mum and us, he didn't have children himself and I feel certain he would of made a great Dad but it wasn't to be...I think after years of not being sure he has finally settled and I know this has thrown him some as he does like to make out to be a hard shit but he isn't really ..We get on better now than we did when we were young and enjoy a good laugh as a family
I feel for our Dad's wife as she spent more years with him and when he became ill back in 2000 she spent the next 10 years visiting a man that sometimes recognized her briefly and I have to say in 2006 when Simon was so poorly I was so disappointed to find out my Dad would never know that I could of done with his support then, as he was out of it by time. Bit selfish of me but I wanted him to be there for us
Simon's side isn't much better his Mum died when he was 13 and he and his twin sisters and an older sister were reared by a real hard character of a Grandma who took no grief from anyone and I still love to hear the stories about her...His Dad remarried and then some years later she died as well plus Simon's sister died so I always felt for Simon's Dad and he was here today for his lunch and he is such a lovely man and easy to please and never never passes judgment so after all these years I think he likes me LOL but he has never said anything to give me any ideas of what he thinks bless him...We get on really well with his sister and she has the 4 kids but we should make the effort to see each other more than we do.
The one person who needs the link is Dean as he calls Simon's Dad Grandad and its the only one he has had and only one Grandma also ...So on Wednesday at least Dean will fill in some history and meet family as most are coming including cousins and I hope he can find something good out of it even though it isn't a happy occasion

And have to much to post so will just put the latest and then work back ...Want to do my Swedish trip which was amazing and have a load of pic's to put on from it and Sall well the penny dropped after about a couple of hours and then she shared the bed with me on the nights we were there so I was really touched ..Her kids well what can I say they are better in the flesh and I was so so pleased when I saw them .I was made really welcome by Johan , Maria and the folk who have their dogs it was really nice for me to get the attention, but will post pic's...Plus what a weekend they had with the showing and will try to list it when I post the pic's

Plus looks like we could have a few going to Crufts next year ...Had Bertie here and he looks real good to me, I love this dog as he is so easy to do when he stays with us and he has qualified for Crufts at his only Champ show this year...I had planned to take him to another but would you warrant it he got Kennel Cough from the one show he did and he actually showed signs the following weekend for the show we were supposed to be going to, a shame the persons who bought it to the previous show were so up their own arses and didn't give any consideration for folk like us who happen to have puppies at home.....Really really annoys me as its only the 2nd champ show we have done with puppies at home and on both occasions we got it....Guess I could of done the same and put some Benalyn medicine down his neck and chanced it...But no as I have some morals at least, hence the week followed with snotty dogs and pup's ...Rant over
Rosie waste a space peanut brain did not show well she did get a 5th at one and I have found a way to stack her and its quite simply string her up LOL photos to follow .....But her brother on the other hand what a boy doesn't put a foot wrong and took best puppy dog so he will be at Crufts as well...Finally I showed Raif and he got a 1st which I was well chuffed about ....We just need Ruger to qualify and maybe Harley and we are set
Anyways will post a load of pic's over the weekend but a few to go on with ....Just have Bertie right and he is going home and the plan is to go and fetch Tag very soon and cant wait to see him so a lot happening over the coming weeks....Will also take Rosie to some handling classes my God I have never had one like her at home as high as a kite and in your face and at a show well she looks like she has been thrashed but she will get it if its the last thing I do LOL

I'm told its 20 days and have been idle LOL so now have that much to put on here it serves me right...So just click every where as will be adding pics in almost all blogs.
Need to congratulate Alport LockNLoad's folk as he got best in show on Sunday by the ref's decision so 2 judges decided he should go best .....So clever boy Ruger and finally starting to come together ...Havent seen any pic's as yet but I think some were taken so will upload them when i see them..
I have some more web sites to add but will have to wait till I get back ...I'm off to Sweden Friday and am starting to look forward to it, I'm bringing collar and leads with me as well and I'm going to be on my best behavior but I think I will be drinking with the judges so I'm not saying I promise 100% not to ask any questions LOL
I have had pic's from Buffy's people and will put some under Sall blog they are the most gorgeous puppies imaginable and I have thought about Buffy most days as it takes me a while to deal with such things.
On an up note Tilly's pup's are also doing well and cant believe they are 3.5 weeks already we know one is going to Cornwall as a much loved pet and then one will be living with Raif and I have hung off homing the 3rd as want to study them some more and make some decisions on which should go where and its not easy. Ok first news Tilly had her puppies and we are more disappointed for the folk we will have to let down but delighted that we have 3 beautiful girl puppies and I am contacting folk now especially those that wanted a boy dog from us ....But I have been onto other folk and can pass some onto nice litters..The main thing being Tilly is amazing and has taken it all in her stride....To the point that today the Italian puppy had snook into the kitchen and there she was sitting in the box next to Tilly and her babies, Tilly not put out at all and will post pic's when their is something to see but at this moment they are all black blobs ...
With good news goes bad news and on the same day Tilly became the perfect Mum we had a call from Big Bears people and that's not working out...I've let off steam there but at the end of the day I am his breeder and I need to do right by the dog so that has to be sorted this week.
Had more good news as Zorro picked up another CC and had some wonderful pic's come through of Zorro and his brother Billy, which I will post
Buffy's pup's are doing really well with adopted Mum Mia and I have pic's which I will have to post
But wanted to to tell a bit of a story as I need a bit of a laugh and at the time I was in stitches ....Nell has kind of taken over from Tag on the our air space patrol ...Tag's routine was to run to the bottom of the garden and look to the roof tops of the OAP's bungalows we have at the bottom of our garden...Mainly to one corner as most are obscured by Simon work shop and if a Pigeon or Crow was any where to be seen he would do his rutting dance and a deep bark and now Nell does the same and sometimes at night as well plus Rosie, Tilly and Italian Pup all race after her....As I mention her and she is actually going to live in Sicily so makes her Sicilian....But she is really lovely and keep trying for nice pic's but will have to post as she is so pretty.
So Saturday morning after I managed to hobble down stairs oh the joys of getting old, my knees are buggered after all those years of horse riding and running a motor cycle and getting out to horses through the winter, hence the memory foam bed and believe me I would kill for this bed ...And let me just say the list of ailments is endless and do I complain...So from head to toe well the wrinkles have taken over along with the grey but thank god for hair dye, I have a frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, 1 lump on the back of my hand which if I catch it, it just kills , trigger finger and working down the body a now rotting womb part of the pleasure of being female and I wont mention any of the other bits OMG...Amazing flushes and brain freeze ....a dodgy hip after being booted by a nag 2 clicky knees , 1 funny anckle after landing on a railway track and I think that just about covers it....So my bed has to work
But my knees were set because I had Tilly between them all night and she was really restless plus we had the windows open and it sounded like the Hitchcock movie of The Birds when I finally got to sleep

So feeling a bit grumpy like you do I let out Nell followed by Rosie and the pup....As Madam Tilly was fast on upstairs still....We have a path going straight down the middle to the workshop and I was just about to take a slurp of my coffee and watch dogs through the window.....And on top of Simon's flat roof which took me a few seconds to work out what the hell it was as it looked like a bloody gargoyle as its head was down over the edge and Nell spotted it first so her tail up like a rudder and all of a quiver and a half deep bark as her head was right up in the air , then Rosie who's hair was up from her neck to her tail plus a ruff of fur on her tail the pup was oblivious at this point
So this Heron spots them coming and like an angel of death it spread its wings and Nell jammed on the brakes Rosie like dodgem car goes crashing into the back of her followed by the pup so all crashed nose to tail and up this Heron comes towards the house .....Nell and Rosie are scrambling to get a grip on the path and turn towards home and the pup is still dazed by it all...
By this time the look of fear on Nell and Rosie's face and half whimpers coming out to get to the house before it eats them and in they fly in the door and Rosie was high pitch at this point. Think Nell was trying to compose herself and trying not to look so scared but I was laughing so much that Simon came down to ask what the hell was going off...It set me up for the day

Been busy getting ready for Tilly and hope all goes well , Alport Tornado has been doing very well and has now passed his KC good citizens Gold award and has just turned 2 so what an achievement for him and his owners who have put all the hard work in ..He and Alport LockNLoad attended East Anglian show yesterday and made the top 5 in their classes so as long as your in there its brill
Then today I received pic's of Tag and OMG I know they had said they were having to curve his fitness level as he keeps going and how are we going to keep him like it LOL ...The fact we have to learn French commands and now seeing how fit he has become and all credit to his adoptive folk in France ...But here he is and not long now he will be back

It didn't seem fitting to post whilst receiving the awful news about Buffy, I had actually posted pic's of her and the pup's but it didn't feel right so I removed them...I also aired a bit of frustration but I removed that at well as I got to thinking that I don't want people telling me they are happy with their lot and then moan and condemn what we do...If your so happy why criticize....So my aim is to do good vibes
When all those years ago we didn't set out to be a well known breeder if that's what we are and we didn't say right lets breed us a couple of Champions and some real nice dogs as we see it its been sheer luck anyway that we happen to purchase some good bitches and we did our best to compliment them. But maybe if your passionate about something sooner or later it has to come through for you, being persistent and consistent also and not losing sight of what you like

Well anyway we can't take a pat on the back for Sandstaff as Johan chose the sire for his now very awesome team and we figure it worked out very well
They had a marvelous weekend in Norway under 2 UK Championship judges
so the team Sandstaff Banditen aka Zorro His sister Sandstaff Brittania aka Vilma and Mum GB CH SUCH Alport Spit Fire aka Sall
Won 3 CC's 2 BOB 1 RBOB BIS-2 Junior BIS-3 which is very very good LOL
Very pleased and cant wait till we go over in July where I will be judging puppies and a huge honour for me

Its with great sadness that I write about the beautiful Buffy, Sall and Ralphie's daughter .
She had a puppy stuck and she went to the vets for a C section in the end. Her heart stopped and she couldn't be revived leaving her poor owners with 4 new borns to take care of..They are still feeling very lost without her and fortunately a friend had a nursing bitch that has now fostered the puppies and all being well they seem to be thriving ...Vets can make mistakes as we at Alport know only to well and had Buffy's Grandma die after being spayed at the vets .....Its the fact that these vets often get away with it is the hardest bit to swallow for me
Will always remember you Buffy and I am glad I was able to spend some time with Bullblade SBT's last year in Spain

These little Monkeys have been full on since they came to live with us and at one point taking into account each of the 7 crap at least 4 times a day if not more. So the pooh patrol seemed endless and just for the sake of a figure if your picking up 40 poohs a day that's 280 poohs a week...And they did have loose ones for about a week so seemed like a packet of baby wipes a day, a roll of kitchen tissue and a roll of plastic bags every other day...If your mopping puddles as well no wonder my my ribs have ached all that ringing of the mop and my hands are dry and sore, the knees have crinked and cracked and I'm just knackered LOL
But they have come on in leaps and bounds and we really have the routine now. I'm posting play pic's as I always think they are the best, Tilly once again has taken it on herself to keep charge and she is a little treasure. I didn't think she would want to be the Mother hen as she is pregnant herself but stupid to think other wise as she is a natural at being Motherly.
They have a suckle off Nell in the mornings which gives me time to do their breakfast and I think she has made a bit of milk for them and Rosie is their big play buddy the only problem with that is she thinks its also ok to take a pee on the mat where they pee but she's still much a babe herself

Its been a bit of a head spinner this last couple of weeks but I think finally I am at peace with myself LOL what ever that means....Had stacks of pic's come through so hope I can cover them all. So we have Buffy and her daughter updates and still as beautiful as ever and looks like her daughter is following in her foot steps so I have put her under Sall being Sall and Ralphie's daughter..Plus Bobby and a couple of kids he is brother to Buffy
More pic's of Tag's kids pup's from his very pretty French champion girlfriend and his other girlfriend Fame and her lovely boy ....News being Thelma had just one girl pup but Vincent is delighted as she is an old girl now so about a week old and thriving and Tag has maybe broken a toe but being a tough Nut he has ploughed on and is back on the mend . Some pic's of Ozzy in there as well as he was from the litter before Tag went out to France and owned by smashing folk who keep in touch

And Crufts well we had a good one just 2 Alports went from the 5 that qualified plus Bea who now is very much in pup and due just under 2 weeks so its the scary bit now and Tilly who qualified also ...Ruger Alport LockNLoad did very well and thought he might be in for a shout but still a baby compared to some but he is a stunner so time is on his side I think
Which leads me to Raif Alport Tornado and didn't he do well, he handled like a dream for me and must of been real tense for his owners Jane and Ed as we made the split from 21 in the class I think and whoo hoooo he came in 3rd which I was on top of the world they say its no big deal to get placed at Crufts and its the participating but believe me if you win a place its tremendous and the last time we got anything at Crufts was 2002 with Raif's Grandad Moss who got 2nd in Junior dog so I was bloody ecstatic just be in there again....Raif also went onto win 3rd again in the Good Citizens award so they came away with 2 rosettes so well chuffed for Jane and Ed

FINALLY
Updates on Big Bear who is no longer BIG LOL came to us weighing 50 lbs and now around 41 lbs even stepped up his food but he running and playing with ours and its just dropped off, he's looking good and so much more chilled....Some training has gone in when we have visitors as he is a bit over enthusiastic LOL but its paying off now and he is calming down with in a couple of minutes really, he mouths on your hand and with that huge gob of his he doesn't put any pressure on at all. His down fall has been grabbing clothes and inside clothes is flesh so that's not acceptable but I am really pleased with him as he is much more responsive, he likes to play but again will go off and help himself to some clothing and he has put up a bit of battle with giving up what ever he has had in his mouth, I know I shouldn't laugh but so reminds me of his Dad Tag when he does this and even looks at me in the same way .....But we win every time and I have been teaching him to bring me things and give them to me willingly as he likes reward and its working ....Basically it was said he was still like a big pup and its true but with some ground rules put into place as he uses his mouth as part of his affection we have just about achieved a big + ....But at the end of the day he has to go as his Dad will be coming back home and don't think he will share with him....We don't want a lot for him but we do need to know he has a committed new owner hence us asking a nominal fee for him, we don't see why he couldn't be shown as he isn't perfect but he still a good looker and moves great, fab mouth as well ....When we breed the perfect one I will let folk know. So posting the day in the bedraggled garden as looks terrible this time of year

I retired early last night thinking it would do me good only ending up waking at 2.30 am with a major flush so it was back to being a Vampire, I was so hot I walked up to the garage and back with all 4 dogs as nobody about to stop me as walking 4 is ok when you can keep walking but as we have Large, middle, small and puppy it turns a few heads and I actually had someone pull up in their car yesterday day wanting to fuss Bear, Tilly and Rosie and when they are in walk mode to get where they want to go its no fun trying to hold them and smile at the same time....Later today I took Bear , Tilly and Rosie again and dragged Dean along to do me some pic's, cant say they are as good as he usually does but he wanted to get back to post his girlfriends Birthday card. But on our way we passed the shops and the Police were there doing road awareness promotion and all 3 police asked me what we fed them and how well they looked so I am all for a bit of PR skills

Now a week today since we met up and bought him home and having had Bertie here as well in the past I am amazed how accepting these dogs are it usually takes a few days for them to settle to your routine but they do and a week on they are truly part of the family...Means I am walking more again as I wouldn't risk walking 4 together so I swap and change who I take out in couples and it works quite nicely ....Going through towels like I don't know what as its so wet and dirty at the moment so its a big rub down when we get back...Not sure how I am going approach re-homing him but free has no value and the rescues and the **psca ( I am not advertising their name on my blog as I hate them ) but they charge a fee and if I do sell him as such its not my money anyway as it will go to his owners who bought from us as a pup....I wouldn't of been able to do this if we had Tag here but I have always said if we can help we will.

Taken about 3 weeks ago so Rosie has changed again and she is keeping Tilly fit as they play and play so thought as Tilly looks good will take her out this weekend to a show and we have been practicing walking properly as well as she really only knows 2 gaits and that is pull hard and walk like John Wayne or run everywhere, now on my path she is moving lovely but as to if she does it when we get to a show that remains to be seen but its all fun supposedly

And so want to update stuff seems like I'm doing 24/7 dogs at the moment..Doing the handling classes with Rosie and Co (Ruger) who is getting there finally , we had Ozzy come to see us a Tag son who is a handsome lad and will be out soon ....I must speak to Kanes Mum as they have had a lot go off recently and not all good for them at the moment.... Bea is now safely pregnant which is good news and we have adopted a Big Bear for the time being LOL he is a Tag and Sall son and he is a substance boy with a good head on him, more than we are accustomed to and to think he popped out of Sall as well.... But he is here until we line him up with a good home and through no fault of his own or owners really just circumstances being what they are and a lovely kind boy he is who has settled well and taking all in his stride and is lying at my feet now (OH where have I read that before LOL) farting his head off, as I gave him a bit of chicken tonight.
But have loads of pic's to add and may not get around to doing them all just now, plan to take some of Big Bear as well and Rosie as she is looking gorgeous plus met her brother at the weekend and can see his breeding in him so will try to get some pic's of him as well..

The pic as I said depicts what I would regard as a good specimen of the breed, now apparently I have to touchy feel to confirm what I see is right that being if I was a judge and not a mere fancier...Is he to deep in the brisket are is hocks to long, should I try and measure his upper arm, has he to much in the way of flews , are his eyes set wide apart well I know they are as have other angles of the said dog, has he sufficient amount of stop like already mentioned why should he need any more....
I have watched many times over the years and thought "What the Hell " the dogs got no bend of stifle or he looks like a Sausage dog or the front is awful and the dog wins the common factor usually being he has a good strong head and the judge hasn't a clue past the head..
Pic's can give false impressions also so would have to agree you need to see dogs in the flesh...I'm posting another pic and when I first saw it I thought the dog has been enjoying his dinner and for me maybe would benefit from some more tuck up but looking closer the dog is in good condition and to be fair his ass is buried in the snow....Does he look to have good conformation from the pic well again I cant see any exaggerations and all seems to balance nicely without me getting my imaginary ruler out to gauge it all
Would I say I am happy with these dogs more like thrilled to bits as we bred them, can we improve, improve for what I would have to ask, guess time will tell if in the next generations we get it right STILL

And even this one has the top of her head missing to a degree, for what ever reason Simon seemed more keen to take pic's of the steps and said the shutter speed wasn't fast enough, she looks a right chunky monkey and though she isn't lacking she isn't by any means this thick set....But will do for now will have to try again on a sunny day, the few we get. Love her perfect little ears and she really is a pretty little girl

We often get asked what we look for and reading on the forum which I no longer contribute to. But there's a topic on the alien look...I believe you are what you are influenced by and by that I mean you haven't complete control on what you breed and I have seen what were top class breeders now struggling, they introduced another line and they lost there look so to speak...Some of them will know it as well and some will continue to breed strength to strength until they end up with what I would class that none Stafford look, to me a Stafford expression which is often written in critiques as a keen expression, I like to call it an intense look a Stafford should not be all Teddy bear like and cute, he should look alert and lively .....My real pet hate is the the new look of a Monkey cant explain fully what it means it just appears to be completely away from the Stafford, huge domed head with way to round eyes that nearly bulge, the head being to round so cheek bumps have become to rounded into the mass of the head and the nose looks like its in between the eyes because its to short...Many years ago I would of favoured a stronger heavier Stafford but I couldn't breed them so as time went by we were moulded by what our girls produced and what a blessing as today I look at some of the dogs we have bred and can appreciate the whole picture rather than just the head as so many people in this breed are driven by heads
So we go along to a show and I would be viewing dogs from the ring side, I'm not looking at dogs stacked as I'm not interested, I'm looking for that natural stance I'm looking how they interact and if they seem happy and alert and I will always watch to see them move, I'm looking for something a bit special to hit me and unfortunately this doesn't happen very often but if I see one I will home in on him and watch his every move and if he ticks all the boxes, balance is right, good expression and moved great you mark him down and look up his pedigree if you can... Have to say though I have become so particular its a rarity now days to home in one... But anyway I'm posting what would be a look of a dog that would do it for me, the dog isn't in stacked mode or pose mode but he looks great, everything about him screams Stafford and the balance is second to none, nothing over done or out of place all his proportions fit as they should and he looks alert and keen as he should, his head is in complete balance and again the proportions are perfect as he doesn't look like he wearing a baseball cap on backwards and his muzzle length is bang on and if you just saw his head you would know he is a male as again some have such a soft look now its hard to tell some times ....This totally depicts my impression of the Stafford

I love having Bertie here as he is such a sop and a real ladies dog, hangs on my every word and follows me everywhere, gives me more attention than I get from the human family members LOL.. But before we took him home took a couple of pic's of him...I had had him here to show but couldn't go so offered to take him home and its a good trek have to say, now I am very impulsive and always have been so when we got to Berties I met his and Molly's daughter puppy , Molly is just stunning reminded very much of Alport Miss-Isle her Granny and the puppy well what can I say .....She just had to come home with us and it just about sums up what we are like and on the way back we had said we had both been thinking the same as in what a lovely baby and how lucky will somebody be to get her...So a couple of days in and we think she is a Rosy and seems to suit her...She has been marvelous and Tilly is in love and another new friend to play with, noticed today Nell was licking her ears so that's usually when she has accepted a new member of the family, thought Nell was a bit down as her hormones must be running riot and read some where that every season a bitch has she goes into pregnant mode, she has made milk but is looking a bit less podgy so will see how she goes. Not sure if we will try again or knock it on the head as we have been very lucky with Nell so for her to miss came as a bit of a shock but then again we wouldn't of bought Puppy Rosy home if Nell was in whelp

Bea went for her eye screening for PHPV/HC and PPSCC and all is well there, she's looking very nice at the moment and just so pretty I really do need to get those pic's of her
Tag's French Champion lady gave birth to 7 healthy pup's and "Fame" Julians pretty bitch had 5 so Tag is having a great time and we wait on "Thelma" now..
I have now posted pic's of Sall and Children on Sall's page, Luna's kids are in up the News blog, will have to get a page especially for Luna but she can be seen on "Greatstaffs" web site and finally snow scenes with Tag and his friends on his page...Promised my brother will set up a page for Marley his 8 month old working Lab who has just got his Bronze Good Citizens award the clever boy him and is now doing his silver and did a 2 minute stay bless him, he is so lovely

Have to say 2009 was a bit of a roller coaster, Sall went off to Sweden and it was a complete change of view of how I saw the show world and I had let Sall go as appose to Bull Dozer Nell, many questions fired at me over it and I did lose all faith I have to be honest.... We saw Tag go to France for his big holiday of nearly 10 months and God I am so pleased to say my faith in people still remains as Sall and Tag have fantastic people taking care of them and like the people we have sold puppies to over the years, how lucky we have been and a lot of these people we can now call proper friends..Need to include Bea's Mum here as a friend in a Million and though I didn't put up on my blog how Bea got her BIS at the Nott's and Derby as wanted to include pic's which are now being chased for me
I did have my breaks in Spain with Buffy's people which was fab and seeing Buffy win RCC at a show was awesome and then in Oct I went to Norway on my 2nd visit to Luna's people and again I loved it, just love the life and the great company and I got to see some of the pup's from Luna and Diablo new pic's have arrived so will be updating there as well....
Then poor hubby Simon was off work for several weeks from May and diagnosed with another ailment of Meniers disease like he hadn't got enough in the way of diseases already but a true fighter and they don't come much more determined than my amazing husband.. Dean had a bad time with his eye and we were going into panic stations over that but we saw the Ophthalmologist a week ago and all is good.
Then me and near as damn being assaulted at work so that called for quick change of jobs as figured I was to old to run, but the quick change turned to be slow hunting and finally finding the Hotel that I now work at, worked all over the Christmas and New Year so didn't really get a Christmas at home and wasn't feeling the spirit of it have to say ... But ploughed through to now and hadn't bargained on anything wonderful happening and again if I am honest was doing a lot of self doubt and trying to figure out where we go from here ... Tried to figure why if certain people say things it must be right because they said it and me being me I have to question that especially if it involves me as I don't like the idea that people take one view on board as that's not playing the game.
So my ramblings on my blog maybe not everybody's cup of tea but I enjoy what I do on here and it sometimes is quite therapeutic and even better when I can put good news and great things

I plan to finish this on my day off and will post more pic's of Sall and Johan gaining her SU championship status, apparently this is the biggest champ show held in Sweden so was well supported, Johan took Zorro (Sall and Tylers baby) out again the following day where he got BPIS again under another judge so a great achievement for the little man first 2 shows and 2 BPIS.... What a weekend they had...
